Deployment of the Incident Management solution in the WestConnex tunnels in SydneyWestConnex is an ambitious infrastructure project that connects Sydney, the airport, the port and the western suburbs for a total of 33 kilometers. Citilog has previously deployed the earlier phases of the project: M4, M8 and Stage 3A. On this occasion, SICE has also awarded Citilog the deployment of the AID (Automatic Incident Detection) on the Stage 3B (M4-M5 Link Rozelle Interchange). Citilog will execute the video analytics embedded on 297 Axis cameras and report the detected incidents to the IOMCS.
BenefitsCitilog has proven its flexibility and adaptability to the complex design of the WestConnex traffic control system. - From a technological point of view, SICE benefits from:
- Integration at the global control center (IOMCS)
- Redundancy
- Compatibility with Virtual Machines
- LDAP integration
The solution complies with the requirements of Transport for NSW and Transurban is satisfied with it. SICE benefits from the performance and cost efficiency of the Citilog Incident Management solution. The new M6 Stage 1 motorway is under construction in Sydney and Citilog would be an excellent fit for it. |
